Mens League 2010

The 2010 Men's League at Valley View Golf Course will consist of 9 and 18 hole league and will run all day on Thursday's.  The Men's League is designed for you the player to choose when you can make the event throughout the day.

Mens League Mission:

To provide a fun and friendly, yet competitive golf league that will cater to all skill levels.

Registration: 

Registration is open to the public and is on a first come first serve basis. We have plenty of spots for new members, however, league membership will probably fill fast. 

Cost: 

The cost of league is $50 that will include all weekly payouts, admisinstrative cost, and year end tournament.  A $25 fee will also be charge to keep your handicap for the year. 

Handicaps:

 It is important that all Mens League members understand handicapping. A USGA handicap is a mathemathical average of your 10 lowest of the 20 posted scores in the computer. This means if you shoot your handicap, you have played a better than average round. It is not normal to shoot at or below your handicap each time you play.
To ensure proper handicap, follow these guidelines:
-Enter all scores in the handicap computer, whether good or bad
-Make sure to properly adjust all scores. We will have the adjustment sheet next to the computer
-Enter all Tournament and Away scores properly
-Remember: posting scores is your responsibility
-Sandbagging will not be tolerated.
